We multiple layers of identity verification processes that allows us know both the renter and asset owner. We do this to foster a community of trust and safe rental practices. While we do our best at this, we do not under estimate the possibility of unruly and suspicious behavior from some users. Always exercise caution and report any suspicious activity to the platform.

This typically involves two parties: renters and item or asset owners. Renters browse listings of items or services they need, make a booking, and pay the platform that holds in trust till the transaction is completed. Asset owners list their items or services, manage bookings, and earn income from rentals.

Is it safe to rent from people I don’t know on Rentit?

We have safety measures in place, such as identity verification, user reviews, ratings, and secure payment systems. While you may not know the person you are renting from directly, you can be sure that the person is known to us and can be trusted.

Can I list my items or services for rent on Rentit?

Yes, you can become a provider by creating listings for items or services you want to rent out. Be sure to provide accurate descriptions, clear photos, and competitive pricing to attract renters.

Can I cancel a rental reservation, and what is the cancellation policy?**

We understand that plans can change at short notice. You do not pay any fees if you cancel within 48 hours of a rental. Cancellation with less than 48 hours to the rental date attracts a 25% cancelation fee to compensate the asset owner for loss of revenue. Read and understand the cancellation policy before booking, and communicate with the asset owner if you need to cancel.

How do I communicate with the asset owner before and during the rental period?**

Our in app messaging systems allows you to communicate with the asset owner. Use this feature to ask questions, coordinate pickup and drop-off, and address any concerns.

What should I do if I encounter a problem during a rental?

Contact customer support for immediate assistance. We help mediate disputes, address issues, and provide guidance on how to resolve problems with the rental.

Is there a minimum or maximum age requirement to use these platforms?

You have to be at least 18 years old to list items or services and enter into rental agreements.

When and do I get paid on Rentit?

We paid by bank transfer and we pay after the rental transaction is completed. In a case where the renter opens a dispute on the rental, funds are withheld till the dispute is resolved.
